Origin and History of Victoria Junior Chamber :
Victoria Junior Chamber (VJC), founded in 1950, is a non-profit making organization dedicated to developing leadership potentials among young people. VJC is the most senior one of the 18 chapters affiliated to Hong Kong Junior Chamber, which is affiliated to Junior Chamber International (JCI).
The organization represents a network of highly-motivated and forward-looking young people between the ages of 18 and 40 who come together to under a common mission: "to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change".
Since its establishment in 1950, Victoria Junior Chamber has proactively responded to challenges in the community, helping to generate awareness on important social and economic issues which impact our daily lives. The organization's objectives are carried out through the "four areas of opportunities", namely individual; community; international and business.
