| Welcome to the
Victoria Junior Chamber website!
Founded in 1950, Victoria Junior Chamber (ˇ§Victoria
JCˇ¨) is the most senior and experienced chapter
amongst the 19 chapters affiliated to Junior Chamber
International Hong Kong. We are the only bilingual
co-ed chapter, comprised of well-educated members
from diverse professional backgrounds. We cultivate
professional young leaders and entrepreneurs through
ˇ§learning by doingˇ¨. Victoria JC members passionately
organize various dynamic projects to benefit the
community and to gain leadership skills and management
experience.
Our theme for 2008 is ˇ§Inspire Vision, Passion
for Action ˇ¨. To echo this theme, our of
all projects this year will be organized under
ˇ§The Passion and Action Seriesˇ¨. We aim to ensure
that all our Victoria JC leaders will gain exposure
and experience through:
Innobrand - Business Affairs
This year, through ˇĄInnobrand 2008', we aim to
establish the Creativity Passion Branding Status
of Hong Kong via a series of events promoting
ˇ§Digital Brandingˇ¨ to newly established enterprises.
Victoria JC will organize a series of seminars,
workshops, business meetings and organization
visits for local and overseas SMEs to expand their
business networks. The ˇ§Innobrandˇ¨ flagship project
has been organized by Victoria Junior Chamber
since 2006 with tremendous impact in the local
business community.
Kids Summit - Youth Affairs
This year we will bring ten passionate young kids
aged eight to eleven to Taipei. Every summer,
we organize this annual youth project with two
of our overseas sister chapters ˇV Osaka JC and
Taipei JC to develop love, trust, care & respect
for each other, and to share passion and action
with our overseas partners. , Highlight of the
year will focus on respect and culture exchange.
Grandparents Day - Community Affairs
Launched in 1990, ˇĄGrandparents Dayˇ¦ has become
one of the flagship projects organized by Victoria
JC. Commemorating our 19th anniversary this year,
we will focus on ˇ§Actionˇ¨ this year, kicking off
with a series of surveys to arouse public awareness
on key issues concerning the elderly. We aim to
promote active communication and relationships
across three generations ˇV stronger families communication
and work life balance.
It is my honor to be the 58th President of Victoria
Junior Chamber this year. I wish to work closely
with everyone of you to create passion and drive
new actions in 2008 and beyond. As the JCI theme
goes, be an ˇ§Active Citizenˇ¨. I look forward to
seeing you all in our upcoming events soon.
